The Dotmasters is the bastard offspring of http://c6.org , The work has been an anonymous art practice that spans more than a decade and a half… Its hard to explain and often baffling to witness. To complicate matters several names have accompanied a near constant stream of broadcasts that have spanned all manor of space and media (C6, Media Whore and of course the Dotmasters). Its been a steady stream of propaganda. Less the reclaiming of space, but the belief that each of us have their own place with in it.
The street is an immediate place. A place without a mediator. Its invasion and appreciation a symptom of the wider society.
Work has been shown at the Cabaret Voltaire, CH, ICA, UK, kunstnernes Hus, NO, Museum of modern art Gulbenkian foundation, PT and London Underground.
