Jackson 5 half gone

Half the Jackson 5 edition left Dotmasters HQ this morning, so if you bought one expect it in the coming days. There are still 19 left so if you were left short by the excess of Christmas there is still some time to get one. You can get them here. Response to the Funny Money series has been amazing and i thank you all for your continued support. This will be last one for a while as i am working on a new body of work for a show coming later in the late spring as well as a new print release that people have been requesting for some time, stay tuned for details…may even manage to make it coincide with valentines day.

Making Dollar

It’s been a hard week at the noteface, the dollar sausage machine has been in full swing. The Mao ze Dollar edition of 36 sold out, were packed and posted. Mao ZeDollar

A new edition in the currency series available from tomorrow. As with the MonroEIIR tenner an edition of 36 on American Legal tender at the price of £20 + P&P. With the huge financial ups and downs on the international money markets, just who’s image should be on which note? Dotmasters present the Mao ZeDollar the latest in a series of works made on legal tender.
Above some colourway AP’s testing out colour combinations.

You must be Barking!

So it’s taken a month, but the building tools are all safely packed away, the desk is clear and a new era of making stuff beckons. Its been a long hard slog but the effort was worth it, Quite a change from the space its was.
Moving further east has its bonuses but Barking is an odd place, new developments stand by derelict parades of shops, there are plenty of wide open spaces and you can tell you’re approaching the edge of London. Barking creek’s a crumbling beauty with a history of fish and sewage its an industrial waterway untouched by the usual waterfront developments (for now).
Just look at all that canvas!

Moving Studio

I have been looking for a new studio for years. I hate moving, and didn’t want to make the wrong move (that is one i would have to do again anytime soon). Luckily after much searching one has been found! A great space out east with a good collection of artists and craftsmen and women that i have been working on and off with for a few years now. The space was a shell, but the chance to make a purpose built studio that will last a few years was too good to waste.

Before i moved in the old stable block looked like this, I had to build a floor, sod working on the old concrete one….too cold in the winter….brrrrr.

Its still not finished…Hopefully next week, but the back is broken on the building work, there’s still quite allot to do but hopefully next week i can move all the shit from one to the other…..if you want to know just how much stuff check the picture below. (Yep its that bloody small i can only get that much of it in)
To celebrate the new move there will be a studio clearance give away some time in late november, stay tuned for details.
